LASEA Belgium is looking for a Software Developer Medior (M/F/X)

Founded in 1999, LASEA supplies laser micromachining solutions to the world’s most prestigious companies, including the TOP3 in the Swiss watch industry, 2 GAFAs, leaders in the eyewear, pharmaceutical and medical industries (intraocular, vascular and cochlear implants), as well as several big names in Silicon Valley. Our solutions are driven by software developed entirely in-house – KYLA™.

With around 200 employees, it has already installed over 3,000 systems in more than 30 countries (on 5 continents). In addition to its headquarters in Belgium (Liège Science Park), it has subsidiaries in Mons (Belgium), Bordeaux, Besançon (France), Biel (Switzerland) and San Diego (USA).

To strengthen its KYLA™ development team, LASEA is looking for a new “Software Developer Medior” to work as part of a team of 6 developers at its Liège site in Belgium (Liège science park).

Your mission :

• Design, describe, implement, test and debug solutions for KYLA™ software.
• Participate in KYLA™ software architectural discussions with the rest of the team to improve maintainability and the complete solution for our machines.
• Apprehend and understand the use of our software on machines by constantly communicating with end users and the product manager.
• Validate the solutions developed on our machines by drawing up and executing test plans.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of software development processes.
• Provide occasional support to software users.
• Communicate constantly with the rest of the team on the progress of assigned tasks, problems encountered and suggestions to be shared.

Your recruitment profile : 

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
• You have at least 5 years’ professional experience in .Net / C# development. Ideally in industry.
• Use and mastery of the following frameworks: .net framework 4.7.2 , .net standard 2.0 and .net core 6.0″.
• You are very rigorous, methodical and analytical.
• You have acquired advanced mastery of object-oriented concepts, decoupling and proven design strategies (design patterns).
• You are a team player with proven communication skills.
• You are familiar with WPF and the MVVM pattern.
• Knowledge of SCRUM methodology is a plus.
• Advanced mastery of git is a plus.
• Experience in software interaction with hardware is a plus (RS232, Ethernet communications).
